The WCHS has about 100 dues paying members, but only a few are volunteers. We could do so much more for the animals of our community with your help. Please contact the WCHS if you would like to help participate in any of our events, attend a meeting or leam more about us. As a volunteer, you will help WCHS members and other volunteers with events and fundraisers designed to help defray the costs of spay and neuter fees for local area low income families. Volunteering will only take a few hours of your time on an occasional basis, but the rewards will last a lifetime. Best of all, volunteering is in the local area.

Some different events that people volunteer for: dog washes, yard sale, pet photos or even taking a few hours on a weeknight to retum phone calls. Volunteers are also welcomed and encouraged to our monthly meeting held every month at the Wayne County Public library in Goldsboro, normally the first Thursday of each month at 6:30 PM.

Volunteers needed for our education program. If you have 2 or more free days a month and like working with elementary children. Please contact Suzi Wharton to find out more about the program. 919-394-2386 or
